Hi Everyone… This is more of a personal post!!
I am excited to share that I have launched a new video course targeted specifically at those who are looking to start their journey into Network Automation. This is something which had been brewing in my mind for the last 2 years but it kept getting thrown into the backburner for some reason or the other. I started my blog around 1.5 years back because I wanted a way to share whatever I have learned about Automation specific to Networks & Unified Communications in the last 6 years or so, in some form or the other.
Initially, I wanted to make a series of video tutorials on Network Automation & compile them in the form of a course or something. But that seemed too daunting at that time primarily due to the logistics involved in creating a video course. The blog seemed to be an easier way and it has been running quite well since then. With time, I realized that since the content I had been adding to the blog wasn’t targeted towards people based on their proficiency in Automation frameworks & technologies related to Networks and Unified Communications, it ran the risk of not providing a clear line of sight to those who were just starting out in this domain. In fact, the WordPress & Google analytics also hinted towards the same. The articles which tackled more intermediate or advanced topics like YANG models or API communications etc were nowhere near as popular as their beginner specific counterparts like Ansible playbooks or Pyang explanation.
That’s why I thought of creating a video course targeted specifically at those who want to dip their toes into Network Automation but find it hard to locate the starting point. It doesn’t take much for a beginner to get overwhelmed & lose their motivation if they don’t have a clear plan & the process to execute that plan. Since this course is dedicated towards beginners, I have made a very conscious effort to keep the topics & their explanations very simple & straightforward. There is no fancy mumbo-jumbo. The course has a total of 26 videos and each topic is explained twice – first in Theory and then in Practical. I have a firm belief that you can’t write the code unless you theoretically, fully understand what that code is going to lead to.
Since this course is hosted on Udemy, it comes with its usual benefits like 30-day money back guarantee, lifetime access etc. The direct link to the course is given below.
If you or someone you know thinks that this falls in their wheelhouse then please feel free to check it out & share. If you do decide to check it out then please don’t forget to provide your comments and feedback. It always helps to know what one is doing right or where one can improve.
P.S – If you are self motivated enough then you don’t need any courses or trainings. The internet can be your teacher. However, if you are looking for some assistance in steering you towards taking your first steps in the world of Network Automation then you can check out this course. I am absolutely positive that you will find this course helpful in your automation journey.
Please feel free to drop your feedback/suggestions, if any. Until then, Happy Learnings!!
